EuroMondiale reserves the right to change course tutors or venues from those advertised on our website and to cancel classes or close them early if necessary. In line with our refund policy, we are unable to grant a refund on the grounds of a change of tutor.

Group Class Courses Group

courses comprise a number of modules (typically six weeks) and signing up for a course implies participation in all modules. If payment is made for the first module, subsequent modules will be automatically billed, and payment is due on receipt of invoice. If a student wishes to leave a course part way, notice must be given in writing to the administrator at least 4 weeks before the start of the next module, otherwise payment is due.

We are committed to ensuring that each course listed on this website takes place. If your course is cancelled and no alternative is available, you will receive a full refund. We regret that we cannot accept liability for an inability to provide courses where these are affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, for example industrial action, public transport disruption or severe weather.

There are no refunds if you miss classes. At your request, your teacher will send you a short note saying what was covered in the missed class and giving you information to enable you to catch up through self-study. The modules in a course are arranged to broadly follow school terms and holidays. There will usually be a one or two-week gap between the end of one module and the beginning of the next. Exceptionally, if a whole class and their teacher agree, the class can take a break mid-module and continue through the next scheduled break.

Requesting a Refund

You can request a refund in writing to admin@euromondiale.com. We will process it in accordance with this policy as quickly as we can.

  • Courses purchased more than 14 days before the course start date
    We will be happy to refund your fees provided we receive your refund request at least 14 days before your course start date. If you purchase your course online, via our website less than 14 days before the course start date, your purchase is protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations (for online purchases) you are entitled to a monetary refund at any point leading up to the course start date.

  • Requests for a refund after the course has started
    Once the course has started you are no longer eligible for a monetary refund, however if for any reason you don’t want to continue with your course you can request a EuroMondiale credit before the start of the third session. After the third session of your course has started the course is no longer refundable. If you have an illness, medical condition or suffer an injury that means you can’t take part in your course, we may offer you a full or partial refund, move you to a more suitable course or offer you a full or partial EuroMondiale credit.

  • Course cancellation
    We will only cancel a course as a last resort, for example if a tutor is unavailable or if we can’t recruit enough students for the course to run. If we do need to cancel a course, and can’t offer suitable alternative, we’ll refund you in full. If we need to cancel a single session of a course, we’ll try and make up for it with a “catch-up” session. If we can’t provide a catch-up session, or if you are unable to attend the catch-up session, you’ll be entitled to a EuroMondiale credit for the value of the session lost.

Individual Coaching

We are happy to arrange individual lessons with our tutors, either as a top-up to class sessions, or as the primary learning context.  

The advantages of these sessions include a complete focus on your learning needs as well as the ability to arrange the sessions to fit your schedule (within reason). For these 1:1 sessions, we invoice in advance for the first four and then monthly in arrears for what you have had. Invoices are due on receipt and payable by direct debit. An alternative arrangement is for you to buy a batch of hours to be used as you wish, in arrangement with your tutor.  

When that is coming to an end, we will bill you for another batch unless you have told us that you wish to stop at least two weeks before the end of the current batch. We require 48 hours’ notice of cancellation or rearrangement to avoid the session being chargeable.
